Skipping vs Removing Leads

Overview

There are times when it's appropriate to skip, or circle back to, a lead. As well, there are circumstances when a lead should be completely removed from Coffee...forever. 

Remove Lead

The Remove Lead option completely removes the lead from Coffee, not just from your call list. While this is certainly an appropriate option for some, it should be a last resort option. Removing a lead should not be confused with the skip for now option. 

When to Remove a Lead

BD Unapproved

Some Financial Firms that use LPL or other broker dealers that haven't yet whitelisted Levitate will not be able to purchase from us.

Duplicate

This lead already exists in Coffee.

Captive

This organization does not "own" their contacts because they are part of a conglomerate. 

Enterprise

An organization that is not a Small or Medium sized business (SMB) with hundreds or thousands of employees

Retired

This person is either sailing or playing golf and is definitely wearing khakis. 

Off-Vertical

This organization aligns with a different vertical.

Permanently Closed

Someone from Levitate didn't call soon enough....

Do not Call

It is completely evident that this lead does not need to be contacted in the future. 

Skip Lead

The Skip Lead option simply means that the current moment is not the time to reach out. Skipping a lead ensures that the lead will resurface to contact at a different time. 

When to Skip a Lead

Wrong time zone

The lead may be an a time zone different than what's displayed. This could result in the lead surface outside of the opportunity outreach time. 

Problem with Coffee

There is a tooling component that is hindering you from reaching out to the contact. 

Bad Info

The data listed in the Lead card is incorrect, outdated, etc
